Assignment

The municipality of Rijen wants to the F-ONS project ensure that there is more citizen participation in the municipality. The aim is for residents of the municipality to be able to easily realize ideas to improve the living environment and vitality of the municipality or a neighborhood. This is currently also possible, but for many people this is too complicated and time-consuming. With the new project, the aim is to make this easier and for the municipality to help realize ideas/plans that have been approved. Helping can consist of deploying your own employees or linking, for example, an entrepreneur to make the financial picture correct. The intention is that the initiative should be feasible for all residents, so for both the practically trained and the theoretically trained.

Fresh and playful look

The municipality of Rijen had a number of characteristics that they would like to see reflected in the logo and other communications. The properties were colors that radiate being outdoors, creativity and social. In consultation with the municipality, the fresh colors blue, green and yellow were chosen.

In phases

The first concept phase consisted of orienting the shape of the logo which also involved thinking about the pay-off. With the clear feedback, the final logo came out in stages.

Print

In addition to creating the corporate identity, we also developed campaign elements. Some elements are: logo clouds on forex material for the F-ONS competition and a stand-in board of the character Fons. This is to create interaction with residents at municipal events.

Infographic

Besides the printed matter and interaction elements, an infographic has also been developed to make it clear to both highly educated and practically educated people how they can realize their idea together with the municipality of Rijen for their area.

Website

The website for F-ONS has been realized in the same style as the infographic. The character Fons plays a role in many elements. Fons is the face of the citizen participation project. The inhabitants can identify with the character. The website is set up in such a way that people can submit their idea to the municipality in 3 clicks. The user experience has been an important aspect in the final website, but with a constant eye on design.
